Natural Remedies to treat Brittle Nails!!

Brittle nails are a sign of a nutritional deficiency or anemia that causes nails to chip and break easily. Other reasons can be Raynaud’s Syndrome (improper blood circulation), iron or protein deficiency, lack of B-complex vitamins, calcium, biotin, hydrochloric acid, or zinc. Home Remedies:

Sea salt and water bath for your nails can soften your cuticles and also strengthen your brittle nails.

Coconut Oil works as an amazing natural moisturizer that nurtures and strengthens nails.

Apple Cider Vinegar support to keep nails strong and healthy. Its antifungal properties help to ward off nail infections. Mix equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water in a bowl, soak nails in this mixture for a few minutes. Gently push down the cuticles and then wash them off after some time.

Tea tree oil also works wonders to treat discolored nails and aids to repair and strengthen damaged nails. Other essential oils which help to boost nail health include lavender oil, jojoba oil, lemon & frankincense oil and vitamin E oil. Apply any of them on nails and massage.

Lemon Juice: Vitamin C nourishes and fortifies brittle nails. Its bleaching properties brighten the nails, remove stains and in addition make them look whiter.
