Temporary increase in body temperature from the normal ( 98.6°F (37°C) due to some illness. Consult the doctor in case of high temperature. Fluids – Drinking lots of fluids, Soups & Fruit juices keeps you hydrated. Fluids can regulate the body temperature, help to replenish the loss of water caused due to sweating and provide you with energy.

Tepid bath – A quick remedy to lower the temperature is a Tepid shower. The water used is slighter cooler than the body temperature which soothes and relaxes body muscles. It cools off the body hence providing energy.

Warm Baths – Taking hot baths help release pain & stress. The body feels fresh and energetic.

Dressing lightly – Wear light and breathable clothing to release the body heat. Prefer mostly cotton which can absorb the sweat and don’t irritate the skin during sickness. Don’t stay in the blanket, let yourself cool off.

Resting – Avoid physical activity as much as you can, take ample sleep as the body is working hard to fight the infection. Take a rest and let your body recover.

Eat Light: Chicken Soup, Greek Yogurt, Vegetables, Fruits, Coconut Water proved helpful and nutritional. Avode market and fried food as they can irritate the throat.

Sip some Tea: Echinacea and Ginger Tea are very effective in boosting your immunity. Our Indian tea relaxes the body and mind otherwise any tea serves the purpose of soothing.
